since moving here in the early '90's. An award-winning broadcast
journalist, she has interviewed several West Virginia governors and
other government officials, including U.S. Senators Joe Manchin and
"Jay" Rockefeller as well as 2nd District Congresswoman Shelley Moore
Capito. Her coverage of President's Bush visit to the 167th Airlift
Wing netted her a WV Broadcaster's Association award.

Steve French has had an interest in the Civil War ever since he learned how to read and has written books to prove it. He loves bringing the heroes of the past back to life and spreading the knowledge of what happened locally during that time. Steve has won awards for his works such as: the 2008 Bachelder-Coddington Literary Award and the 2009 Civil War Round Table of Gettysburg Book Award.
