Through Panhandle Live, Fogle provides his listeners with unequaled access to people making the news happen from outside their front doors to the capitol dome in Charleston.  It's a daily combination of journalism, fun, and local flavor.

Panhandle Live for Nov. 12, 2012

First thing today, a big thank you to all the men and women who have served. Veterans Day is certainly a great occasion to mark the significance of the sacrifice so many make, but we need to make sure it is something we do everyday. We started the program chatting with Stefani Pierson, executive Director of the Boys & Girls Club of the Eastern Panhandle. Thanks to the Eastern West Virginia Community Foundation, the United Way and the Promise Neighborhood Initiative, the club will have hours during the school holidays. Get all the details in the interview.

After that Helen Harris, recently named the 2012 Citizen of the Year in Berkeley County joined us. Learn the story of the All are Welcome Community Thanksgiving Dinner. It will be at the St. Joseph Parish Cafeteria on Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 22) form noon to 4pm.

And Art Thomm was on the line to talk about the importance of Veterans Day. Art served in the U.S. Air Force. He fills us in on a few ideas for making a genuine gesture of gratitude for the men and women in uniform. A nice way to give back on Veterans Day or otherwise!
