Panhandle Live

Panhandle Live is an hour long journey across West Virginia's Eastern Panhandle.  The area's longest running local talk program offering relevant news, politics, and information to listeners.  Host and WEPM news director Hans Fogle has distinguished himself in the news industry and brings that knowledge to the conversation as he discusses the issues of the day with local officials, state leaders, business members, and anyone else contributing to life in Berkeley, Morgan, and Jefferson Counties.

Through Panhandle Live, Fogle provides his listeners with unequaled access to people making the news happen from outside their front doors to the capitol dome in Charleston.  It's a daily combination of journalism, fun, and local flavor.

Panhandle Live for August 31, 2012

Great to catch up this morning with Dana Knowles. If you have not heard her inspirational story then be sure to listen to the interview. Dana has used some personal tragedies to really make a difference and was recently featured in American Profile Magazine. Learn about her entrepreneurial spirit and what she plans to do next!

Also visited with Assistant Professor Department of Business Administration MBA Coordinator Shepherd University Chip Zimmer. The first meeting of the PSN, Panhandle Senior Network, is coming up at 8:00am Wednesday Sept. 12th at Panhandle Home Health. It is an interesting idea and one Dr. Zimmer says is badly needed.

Republican Candidate for West Virginia Commissioner of Agriculture Kent Leonhardt called in on the Frontier Communications Hotline. He offered a more definitive description of Ag Commissioner and spoke about how he hopes his military service can benefit returning soldiers.

And I was very delighted to chat with Kelly and Tony Smallwood. They shared their passion for Young Lives and promoted a golf outing happening September 17th. You can register online and help make their tournament a big success.
