History in the Making
It’s very rare that high school students these days can say they are the first to do anything, but at Washington High, Dylan Ceravalo gets to make a distinct claim. He is the first athlete to commit to an NCAA Division I school in Washington High history.
Okay, granted that history is only five years old, but that in it self is an amazing accomplishment. On Tuesday April 23, 2013 I was able to speak with Dylan as he signed his letter of intent for wrestling at NC State University in Raleigh North Carolina.

Now while Dylan is the first athlete to make school history, Caysie Irving will soon make history herself, becoming the first female in school history to commit to an NCAA Division I school. Caysie will be signing her letter for track sometime in the following week.
Congratulations to both athletes on their accomplishments!
